As she sits before me, her eyes locked in mine,
Holding my gaze, a moment in time
I see the Goddess shining through
She asks that I know her and says I know you.

Beauty and Wonder in her gaze
Compassion and Love she portrays
Eyes through which I see a thousand lifetimes,
Eternity and knowing
Of everywhere I’ve been and where I am going.

On this Journey together, my Familiar and me
She is a reminder of things I strive to be
Playful and Innocent, Compassionate and wise
Loving and giving no matter the price.

She unlocks my heart to the love that is there,
As she quietly gazes from her chair.
