The Blind Man’s Song

Oh Sweet the morning dew

That lie beneath my feet

The sunrise play upon the sky

Another day doth me greet

The blackbird sing so sweetly

Within the gable beyond

Come fly your nest

Be light of wing

And sing your precious song

The blossom blooming all around

Make work for bees their aim

Yon butterfly come and dance with me

Kiss away my heart of pain

Open my eyes and let me see

The skies of oh so blue

Open my eyes and let me see

A dawn of golden hue

To feel the rain upon my cheek

To hear the bubbling brook I seek

Open my eyes that I may gaze

Upon the world sweet natures ways

The Starlit Sky

And pass throught time
And look unto that starlit sky!
That starlit sky that shines so bright
That brings its sparkle
Unto the night

Come take my hand
Pass through the vale
And look to where the moon doth sail
Do not be afraid
To look to the past
Just step aside
The shadows cast

And bridge that gap
Of times gone by
When thee cast thy eyes
To that starlit sky!

Please dance with me
Along the way
Remember times
Of yesterday
For nought is lost
But dreams to cherish
For this love of ours
It could not perish!

But remember me on a moonlit night
For I am there
With the stars that shine
Not gone to merely fade away
But standing there to hear our song
A song that is sung
With purity be
A song that whispers
My love for thee

Oh starlit sky!
Please shed no tears
For time cannot erase
Those many years
Oh starlit sky!
I send forth your way
A star to guide thee
Come what may

The Wings Of The Butterfly

Although I yearn for thee to keep

And know thee often turns to weep

I give my heart

It hath no bounds

To envelop thee

Make no sound

Though the skies turn oft’ to grey

I send thee dreams

Of sun filled days

To bask and bathe

In golden rays

Look now unto that cloudless sky

Float on the wings

Of the butterfly

Breathe the beauty

The flower doth send

Catch the gold of the daises head

Return thee now to this pliable earth

With thee I walk

To thee I serve

And tho’ I yearn for thee to keep

I hold this bond

Of love so sweet
