The Spirit of Christmas by Annamaria Hemmingway
From the moment of birth, the power of story shapes our lives and provides a sense of identity and belonging. Story tells us who we are, what our name is, who our ancestors were, and reveals our cultural identity and ethnicity. However, story also enhances and sheds light on our pilgrimage through earthly existence to discover spiritual meaning and the destiny of the psyche or soul, which transcends physical death and is eternal. As children, we are, perhaps, nearer this Divine source than we realize, for the child lives in the magical world of the imagination where symbolic images remain alive and the senses are still attuned to the stirrings of the voice of nature that penetrates the veil between the visible and invisible realms. Sadly, as we begin to mature and become fostered by our cultural heritage, these connections and memories that link us to an unseen presence begin to fade.
As the days shorten and we approach the time of the winter solstice, we are given the opportunity once more to see how the Christmas Story, which is full of archetypal and symbolic meaning, can bring fresh new insight and remind us of this forgotten realm of existence that lies beyond material consciousness. Originally, the solstice celebration was a pagan festival that celebrated the return and rebirth of the sun as it began its journey back across the sky and promised the herald of spring, new crops, and a time of bounty. For the ancients, the death and rebirth of the sun was also seen to symbolize the life of the human being that also followed the rhythms of nature where death was always followed by resurrection.
The metaphor of new birth still carries a mythic tracing, beneath the celebrations of a modern-day materialistic society, and offers the same possibility to rediscover the sacred eternal dimensions of life that existed in the consciousness of our early ancestors, and still lingers in the collective psyche of present day individuals. The spiritual meaning of Christmas can be found in the ritual enactments of ancient myth, which serve to bring the message of hope and rebirth back to life, as each passing year comes to a close. There seems to be an inherent desire within the human being to experience such a reminder and sense of connection to our Divine legacy. This may be why such a festival continues to be celebrated by many different cultures at a period in world history where the numinosity of life is often stripped away from all that is sacred.
Numinosity, or a sense of the sacred, is often portrayed through the archetypal image of light and can enable the magic and wonder of this celebration to still remain as a living symbol.
So, as we gather with our families and friends we have the opportunity to reflect and rekindle the magical childhood awareness within ourselves of the true spirit of Christmas. For as the old year comes to a close, and a new year heralds unbound possibilities for growth and celebration of life, we are reminded of “tidings of great joy” and the promise of the everlasting life of the soul.

In the event that some of our readers have not come across your work before can you please tell us a little about what you do?
[mtsar] I do many things...divination, hermetic arts, astro-theology, and the origins of evil etc. recently I did a book and dvd entitled the Irish Origins of Civilization, and this week released program 1 of a dvd series entitled: archtects of control, about the future of mankind.
People can go to my main website - http://www.michaeltsarion.com to see the 10 or so websites I have.
Can you tell us what it was that started your journey into all this?
[mtsar] I never knew anything else. But I was reading a lot of english literature from about 3 or 4 years of age, and poetry. I studied a lot of Art early on, and quickly gravitated into the work of those whom I consider major mentors, namely, C. S. Lewis, J. R. R. tolkien, and George Macdonald. These writers, and others, helped me to feel okay about looking at life's mysteries in a broad and different way. Different than that accepted by the masses.
What encouragement would you give to those stepping out into the bigger picture?
[mtsar] Take it slow and realize that there are absolutely no short cuts. This is not a field of entertainment. It is an Esoteric Field and one must be very reverent and sincere to pursue this kind of insight.
Are there any particular books that you would recommend, that have assisted you in your journey so far?
[mtsar] That depends on the subject. My work is very eclectic and so are my studies. There are so many good books coming out at this time. Books i've been reading recently (i read about four or five books per month), are "The Underground History of American Education" "Death by Government," "The Ripper and the Royals," "The State - Your Enemy," "Masks of Sanity," and "The Origin of Paul's Religion." In all my books, and on my various websites, I always post a list of titles that I have referred to throughout my work. And all of my own books are dedicated to great thinkers, teachers, and investigators of the past. These include Comyns Beaumont, Conor MacDari, Anna Wilkes, Ignatius Donnelly, L. A. Waddell, Rev. Robert Taylor, Gerald Massey, and so on. This is because there really is nothing new under the sun. Everything that concerns the great mysteries has already been thoroughly investigated and explained by the great ones of the past. Most of what we read today consists of what might be described as "footnotes" on the work of the masters.

|
I try to feature as many of these masters in my work as I can, so that my readers become aware of their work and contribution. Most of these names my readers will not have heard of before. My DVD productions are the same. They too feature the work of many master investigators. Most are long dead, but a few are still around writing books. Of immense importance are Moustafa Gadalla, Ahmed Osman, and Ralph Ellis. These are three gentlemen that I insist people read. Their discoveries, for the most part, eradicate many falsehoods about the past, about the Egyptians, Jews, and origins of Christianity.
Sigmund Freud's final book entitled "Moses and Monotheism" is a must. Immanuel Velikovsky's "Oedipus and Akhenaton" is excellent (as are all his works), and of enormous significance is Gerald O'Farrell's fine book "The Tutankhamun Deception." "The Knights Templar Revealed," by Butler and Dafoe is one of the best on the subject, and Tony Bushby's two excellent books, "Secret in the Bible" and "The Bible Fraud," are also highly recommended.
Do you believe that a physical bodied "Jesus" ever existed or is it all malicious fabrication on the part of the Atonists?
[mtsar] No, I do not believe a man, as is described in the Testaments, existed. I do believe that enlightened men have walked the earth. I believe they still do. Of course it depends on what each person believes is meant by "enlightened." For me it is anyone that does not deal in illusions. A man is either moral or he is not. Religion is not going to make anyone a better person. We can see that it has not done so. A man is either truly and naturally good, or he is an actor trying to play a part. He contrives and performs. This is what has lead to the state of decay in the world. My mentors were Christians, for the most part. But they understood what I've just said. They also knew that everything in this world requires impartial study.
One can be religious or not. That is not my concern. What concerns me is whether the people I meet are wise or foolish, moral or immoral, dependent or independent. It is really very simple. It is the institutions of religion that have manufactured the Jesus of the Bible. He was based on Apollonius of Tyana, and even on several Caesars. He was based on pagan deities such as Orpheus, Mithras, and the Irish Iesa. He has existence as a mythological and even a sidereal character. This means that he represents the sun, or some other major luminary in the heavens above our heads. It can certainly be said he is an archetype representing man perfected - Adam Kadmon - of the Hermetic Tradition.
The Bible is a cover story for personages who did not want to be openly known, but who did want their "story" preserved. So it is like a play. Behind the characters, such as John the Baptist, Jesus, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Melchizedek, and Mary, and so on, lie powerful archetypes of a mythological sort, but also physical personages who did live in the world long ago. My work addresses who these people were, and what they were up to. When we read about Moses meeting god at a burning bush, or a tree in a garden, or of a saint beheaded, we had better realize that the trope is not to be taken literally.
The masses take it all literally because this is how they and their fathers have been trained. But the senior chiefs at the Vatican, and within the chambers of the headquarters of the Knights of Malta, like those in senior positions of Freemasonry, know differently. They are not adverse to showing off their esoteric knowledge. They frequently do so via the media, and via their lieutenants in the entertainment business. They don't do a a lot of communicating with words, but they speak loud and clear in other ways. My work is dedicated to having the people of the world decode what is being told to them in subtextual ways every single day. Like it is during war time, we must break the enemy's codes.

Winter Stories
By Dr. Katherine Aaron
The Oral Tradition among Native American tribes of North America includes the winter stories, which is the telling of stories around a communal fire during the long winter months. Not to be misled, winter stories aren’t about winter; they’re just told in the winter when tribal members aren’t busy with work allowing time for the stories to percolate deep within the listeners. Winter stories contain the beliefs and history that shape each tribal member’s perception of the world.
Often times one tribe’s winter stories clash with neighboring tribes and always, they clash with the white man’s perceptions of the world, which of course are based on thier own stories. In most tribes today every young member is allowed the personal journey of making their own peace inside of this clash of stories. Each person is the given free will to choose what to believe to be their truth, their story, and to discard the stories that do not serve them while still remaining a full member of the tribe. You are empowered with the same free will.
It takes a season of stillness to examine the stories you were taught in childhood. Unless you do this, the stories you grew up with is what you’ll create your life with and what you’ll unconsciously base your perceptions of yourself and the world upon throughout your entire lifespace. The stories that you grew up with are carved out neural pathways, habitual thought patterns taught to you during those tender ages of your development. Now, as the adult, you have the free will and the power to choose which stories to believe.
What were the stories taught to you? Which are the stories that you still carry around unconsciously within you? In my work the stories that most people are embedded with habitual thoughts like: I’m not good enough yet. I deserve punishment. I can’t do anything right. I’m bad, wrong, or evil. I’m such a loser. I don’t fit in. I can’t begin to understand, much less do. I’m not worthy. I am not loveable until I ‘fix’ myself, etc. It’s easy for them to show love to others but hard to allow themselves to be loved, much less to love themselves.
Guidance says that these and other variations of self-judgments are purposefully what most Lightbeings are expressing and experiencing while incarnating today. There’s a big energy shift that’s going on, an evolution of humankind, and this clearing regarding self-love is a necessary part of it. If you’ve evolved to a point where its time to remember who you really are, to awaken, then you’re going through or have already gone through this process of Knowing you are the Love that you seek to experience.
We are constantly creating. All things in our lives are manifestations of the conscious and unconscious stories that we tell ourselves. Painful life experiences are not a punishment on any level; they are there telling you of unconscious stories that some part of you is buying into. If you’re currently expressing and experiencing poverty, unlovableness, ill health, financial worries, loneliness, or other unwanted experiences let go of all judgments regarding it and look for the stories from your past that are manifesting these.
Most often your Highself provides you with a season of winter to do this work. Remember that when this lull in your life feels barren and empty, it is not a punishment. But, winter’s presence has been lovingly provided for you to take time to examine the stories that were told to you in childhood and to lovingly whisper the clearer truths to every part of you that’s still buying into those illusions. Winter is the time to awaken those deeper parts of you that are still slumbering away in a story that isn’t true.
The rewards of examining your winter stories more than justify the energy you’ll spend. ‘You are always unconditionally loved’ will no longer just be words that feel true but you aren’t experiencing. With an immediate and profoundly deep awareness you Know that you are always loved, worthy and acceptable. It becomes your story, the reality upon which all of your perceptions of life are based upon. Life expressions and experiences naturally change as it flows with the abundance that Love provides.
The next step, which oftentimes comes simultaneously, is the Knowingness that not only are you loved, but that you ARE the Love that you were seeking in the first place. With that comes a life of dancing in that Love, enjoying the limitless abundance, joy and purpose/contentment. This is the expression and experience of this Knowingness, this remembering of who you really are in every moment.
It is with this that I end the winter story you’ve given me the honor of offering to you, my tribe, as we sit gathered around the communal fire of Enlightening Times experiencing the transformational power of the Winter Solstice. Namaste

Past Life Workshops Review
© Jade Ashcroft 2008
Having dabbled with DIY regressions and Guided Meditations for years I made the decision to try it out with an experienced practitioner.
The first session in the morning was spent doing some gentle meditation, aura exercises and a mini regression, in which Deborah talked us through some dates on a timeline to see if there were any in particular which we felt drawn to.
While Deborah was talking, every time she mentioned a date I would see a stream of pictures, so fast that it was virtually impossible to try and remember them all to record later on. When she mentioned the Egyptian Period I saw an image of myself standing with my arms raised to the sun, fully clad in ritual adornments, with a winged disc behind my head. The next thing I knew it was as if I was there, walking up some steps towards a huge temple, with two guardians either side of me.
The afternoon session lasted a lot longer, giving you time to explore a past life of your choice. I found it a bit difficult lying for over an hour, simply because I am used to meditating sitting in a chair. There were some rather interesting results though. One of the clearest images was my feet, clad in brown leather sandals. I was looking down at my feet, and I was standing on a boat. I could see the hem and folds of the long wool robe. As Deborah talked us through different aspects of that life, like where we lived and what kind of a life we had, I felt right at home in this eerie half conscious world.
There are many theories and conjectures about the authenticity of the information gleaned through this process, as there are with other related subjects like regression hypnosis. Is it real or is the imagination creating imagery to deal with certain issues that are being repressed by the conscious mind? Does it really matter whether the memories that are recovered are real, or could we take whatever we experience in the context of finding something out about our inner nature through analysing the imagery that we do recover.
The session with Deborah left me feeling like I had recovered that last piece of a jigsaw after aeon's of subconsciously searching for that one piece. Regardless of whether or not I recovered actual past life memories, the healing process was a deeply profound and emotionally cleansing experience
